With the video tool developed by us, ViviAn “Videovignettes for the analysis of teaching processes”, we offer students the opportunity to analyze group work processes of pupils. In addition to the video, we provide the students with additional materials. Among these are the learning objectives addressed by the learning environment, the task on which the pupils are working in the filmed situation as well as the resulting pupil documents. The additional information can be called at any time parallel to the video. As a result, ViviAn users have almost the same information as a teacher who is watching the situation in class. On the basis of conducting diagnostic assignments, the students deal intensively with the situation and thus link the acquired specialist didactic knowledge with the practice.
